A selection from the Wedding Party series, this hellebore features 2-2 1/2″ double bloom flowers of bright yellow to yellow with lovely maroon edges and veining. You won’t be able to resist taking this one for a twirl around the dance floor…I mean garden!
Hellebores are the harbingers of spring, blooming for six or more weeks beginning in late winter. They can often be found flowering during the Christian season of Lent, which inspired their common name, Lenten Rose. This is the perfect plant for moist, woodland areas where its extensive root system can spread as far as it is allowed.
