A large, stately blue hosta from hybridizer C. Kwick with a strong, upright presence. ‘Bluebigwa’ features large, rounded, blue-green leaves that are heavily corrugated and cupped upwards. Its sturdy, upright habit and deeply textured foliage make it an excellent architectural specimen. (Mature Size: 24″T x 36″W)

Registered in 2019 by C. Kwick, Hosta ‘Bluebigwa’ is a cross of (‘Abiqua Drinking Gourd’ x ‘Komodo Dragon’). It forms a large mound with a strong upright habit. The leaves are rounded, heart-shaped, blue-green, heavily corrugated, and cupped upwards. It produces near-white flowers. Introduced for 2025.
