A large, stately blue hosta from hybridizer C. Kwick with a strong, upright presence. ‘Bluebigwa’ features large, rounded, blue-green leaves that are heavily corrugated and cupped upwards. Registered in 2019 by C. Kwick, Hosta ‘Bluebigwa’ is a cross of (‘Abiqua Drinking Gourd’ x ‘Komodo Dragon’). It forms a large mound with a strong upright habit. The leaves are rounded, heart-shaped, blue-green, heavily corrugated, and cupped upwards. It produces near-white flowers. Introduced for 2025.
