Emma Rose began as a choice gold seedling from Wisconsin hybridizer Jeff Miller of Land of the Giants, gifted to Brian Kniffin so he could name and introduce it exclusively through Hostas on the Bluff. Kniffin selected it as the first plant in his Bluffview series and named it for his daughter Emma, creating a personal family connection for this unregistered giant.
